Science & Proof
Physical sunscreen, also called mineral sunscreen are considered as the safest formulation for sun protection. They sit on top of skin and reflect the harmful ultraviolet rays without penetrating into the skin. Most physical sunscreens leave a white or tinted residue on skin, hence are not considered as the formulation of choice. FCL Chemfree SPF 30 is a physical sunscreen which contains the physical sun blockers in micronized form. It ensures a non-whitening texture with a uniform texture. Suits all skin types including the most sensitive skin.
Apply liberally to face and other exposed body parts 30 minutes before sun exposure or as often as needed. Re-apply after every 3 hours or after towel drying, swimming, or perspiring.

Titanium Dioxide (micronized)
Inert earth mineral used as a sunscreen ingredient. It protects skin from UVA and UVB radiation and is considered no risk of skin sensitivity. Because it’s gentle, titanium dioxide is a great sunscreen active for sensitive, redness-prone skin. It’s great for use around the eyes, as it is highly unlikely to cause stinging.
Zinc oxide (micronized)
Zinc oxide is a powerful UV blocker that sits on top of the skin, scattering, reflecting, and absorbing UVA & UVB rays. By its broad spectrum protection, it prevents the skin from condition like sun burn, sun tan and photo-ageing. Additionally, it has anti-inflammatory, skin soothing and healing properties.
Aloe vera
The healing properties of aloe vera can also help treat sunburn since it acts as a protective layer on the skin and gives the skin that punch of moisture. Full of antioxidants, aloe vera helps heal sunburn much faster.
Vitamin E
A potent antioxidant protects against cell mutation caused by sun and pollution exposure. It contains powerful anti-inflammatory action – and this can prevent the signs of premature ageing, as inflammatory conditions in the skin is a leading cause of skin ageing.
Phytosqualane
A natural and excellent emollient (softening agent). Based upon its natural affinity with the skin, phytosqualane penetrates easily without leaving a greasy feel, and at the same time gives the skin a soft and silky feel. It also helps in proper spreadibility of the UV ingredients.
